I hope this answers your questions.
-jihadswarm. is there some other proof necessary? I could go find the earlier post where someone explained how he has to try to convince one of his friends to stay in game after a pointless suicide gank, and point out that I've had to do the same, but you don't seem inclined to listen to that.
-I don't understand your argument that "using the RL argument noone in eve should get insurance". please elaborate? I'm pretty sure that in RL insurance exists specifically for people like all the miners who got ganked, or all the mission runners who want nothing other than to do their 'job' (finish their missions) in peace. in RL insurance, you can actually insure the actual cost of the vehicle unlike eve. and in RL insurance, when you prove that you're abusing the system, you don't get paid and don't ever get any more insurance.
-I think that removing insurance completely won't solve the problem, and will cause problems for new players learning how the game works. I don't think that "mission ravens that are already exploding from concord left right and center" is really going on as much as you seem to think, unless you're making a comment on suicide gankers' setups, and once it happens once, it's amazing how quickly you'll learn to turn off your auto target back. probably even happens before you ever set foot in a raven.

No. He didn't die because he didn't do x, y and z - he fraking died because you blew him up.
